Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines how LAZO Logistics handles international freight, the responsibilities of each party, expected transit times and obligations of our customers.

1. Services offered

LAZO Logistics provides air freight, ocean freight (FCL & LCL), road freight, express courier and multimodal shipping, with end-to-end customs clearance and warehousing options.

2. Booking and confirmation

Shipments must be booked in writing. A confirmation is issued once cargo readiness, documentation and payment terms are agreed.

3. Documentation

Customers are responsible for providing accurate commercial invoices, packing lists, HS codes, certificates of origin and any product-specific licences before pickup or departure.

4. Packaging and labelling

Cargo must be properly packed and labelled for the chosen mode of transport. We can advise on packaging requirements, particularly for fragile, hazardous or temperature-sensitive goods.

5. Transit times

Express courier: 1–5 business days. Air freight: 3–7 business days. Sea freight: 14–45 days depending on lane. Transit times are estimates and may vary due to customs, carrier or force majeure events.

6. Customs clearance

We handle export and import customs on your behalf when appointed. Duties, taxes and government fees are payable by the importer unless otherwise agreed.

7. Insurance

All-risk cargo insurance is available and strongly recommended. Standard carrier liability under international conventions is limited and may not cover full cargo value.

8. Prohibited and restricted goods

Customers must ensure cargo complies with origin, transit and destination regulations. We reserve the right to refuse carriage of any prohibited or undeclared dangerous goods.

9. Delivery and proof

Door-to-door delivery is available on most lanes. Proof of delivery (POD) is issued upon successful handover at the consignee's address.

10. Claims

Any loss or damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery, with supporting evidence. Claims are processed in line with applicable transport conventions and insurance terms.
